There are many parallels between sports coaching and business coaching. Helping personnel to work in teams, to communicate, to trust their team mates and to develop good skills are similar in sports or business. Good communication is important to a sports team and good business communication is vital to any business. Mental coaching is used in both areas to define success, create a "game plan" and overcome the mental barriers to success. Developing a great team that understand the goals, understand their team and their roles is as important to a successful business as it is to a winning team.
